Hartwick Tailgate Information

Just a reminder for you golfers playing in the Cardinal Classic this Friday at Ravenwood Golf Club...the registration begins at 10:30am. Looks like the weather will be ROUGH!

The following information is provided for all parents who want to participate in this Tailgate for our players. Also, just as we did last week...we'll be tailgating before the game as well.

Great Game JV's

Congratulations to the JV Football Players and Coaches on their great 14-10 tough win over the University of Rochester JV's. Also, thanks to the parents who assisted with the JV Tailgate after the game. Our players greatly appreciated this effort. For many of us it was a late night. We'll keep you posted on the Buff State tailgate...usually we just bring desserts and drinks for their ride home as we did for the Alfred game. The players and coaches appreciate it.

For those JV parents that have not participated in our tailgates it is not too late! You are a vital part of the Fisher Football Family. Feel free to start this weekend!

CHEAP...Need to make some NOISE...Welcome to the Big House for the BIG GAME...From what I can read on D3football.com Ithaca fans will be coming in car loads early....We need to pack our stands with Cardinal colors and fans. Be there early...tailgate late!!!! Check your email for the "goodies" to bring. Also, if you ordered a window decal make sure you see Pam M. on Saturday...these came out looking REAL SHARP! Great job, Pam! Let's continue our Cardinal Parent Pride and provide a great tailgate for our players and coaches.
Anyone know if there is a JV game? Word tonight is that they scheduled U of R for the JV's on Sunday. Hey you just gotta love it!

That's right !!! The more noise the better !!! Especially the cow bells that Ithaca absolutely hates ! Cow Bells are available at farm supply stores. Central Tractor etc. Also, to get good seats, get there early. The Ithaca fans don't like to sit on the visitor side ! We want to help our team by having a great crowd and making lots of noise when Ithaca is on offense ! See you all there !!!

Ithaca Tailgate Update!

Hats off Fisher Football Family!! Another outstanding tailgate! Many thanks to the many helping hands! The food -well it doesn't get any better! Must be that magic touch Jim & crew has at the grill! Thanks for eating flames for us guys!

Great job to Coach Vos and his entire coaching staff on two great wins this weekend! 55-0 vs. Mt. Ida and the JV's beat Alfred 32-12. Can't ask for much more than that!! Great job guys!!

BIG GAME this weekend! We'll need ALL the noise possible to beat the Bombers from Ithaca..Cow Bells are not very well liked by our Ithaca fans...oh well....you will be coming to our house! The Central New York Cardinal Football fans have made arrangements for a Pasta Buffet to be held after the Utica College game for the team. We've booked the Roselawn Restaurant, Main Street, New York Mills, NY (apprx. 3 miles from UC). There is plenty of room for the families to join us. The cost will be $10.00 per person and will include everything. We will be sending out a form on email for those parents that want to join us at the buffet. Also, the forms will be at the Tailgate on Saturday. Stay posted for further developments.

NEWS Flash...JV Tailgate Coordinators

Hi All-
Guess what? Something exciting for the Blog! --- We have a person to coordinate the tailgate at Alfred!! Mike & Brenda Sadari will be the go to people ! They will be arriving between 11:30 - 12. No tables yet but still early. I know they don't have one but I'm sure someone will step up.
I'll be sending out an update Thursday pm & will include this exciting info.

Cardinals take 2

Congratulations go out to our players and coaches on the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Our 2006 Courage Bowl Champion SJFC Cardinals winning with a convincing 30-10 score over U of R on Saturday evening. This game was played in front of more than 4,000 fans as well as many more viewing the game on the television. Today our JV team beat Buffalo State by a score of 17-13. Great job on both games.

Thank you to all who assisted with both Tailgates. It is always good to hear our players say how much they appreciate the efforts of all of our parents in supporting the tailgates. We have a great group of players and coaches with alot of class! Its' great to be part of the Fisher Football Family. Thank you all!

Courage Bowl/JV game Update

The tailgate email is out! We will be tailgating after the game at the Fisher Student Center. Please note this location. We are still in need of some items below. Your continued support is greatly appreciated!

Courage Bowl

The SJFC Cardinals will be traveling across town to play the University of Rochester in the Second Annual Courage Bowl. This game will be played in hopes of raising funds for those children less fortunate. For those of you that were at the inaugural event at Growney Stadium last year, you saw a wonderful picture of the honorary Captains surrounded by members of the Cardinal Football team and coaches.

We'll keep you posted as the week progresses on Tailgate events for the game at U of R.

Drying Out with Win

Thanks to all of those that supported the Tailgate Party for the players, coaches and parents yesterday. Once again ALL of you were champions especially being handed the weather on Saturday.

We encourage each of you to review the email and the blog for locations of the Tailgate event at home. Most likely we will remain at the Fish Bowl.
