Thank You JV Coaches, Players and Parents
While the wonderful ride through an 8-1 season ended this past Friday, Cardinal fans just need to look back at the great memories and friendships that were made throughout the season. Our sons were coached by some of the finest young men, dedicated to striving for success each and every week. we can't thank the coaching staff enough! You guys were GREAT!
The players gave 120% each and every day they walked on the field. They wore the cardinal colors proudly and they provided the college with an 8-1 record, one for the record books. Parents, you can be real proud of your sons. They are a class act. After each tailgate event never did a player leave without saying good bye and thank you! That is a class act...an act that is cultured through the football program at is second to none.
Hats off to Mike and Brenda Sidari for their untiring efforts for organizing this year's tailgates. AND...to those Ithaca Tailgate parents...THANK YOU...you went the extra mile and provided our team with a quality hot meal...on a very cold day. Here is a brief message from the Sidaris: Please express our thank you from Brenda and myself to all the JV parents who made our tailgating a success. It is just amazing to see the food come out after the game. All the parents have to be proud of their sons, The amount of thank yous that were said to us shows how well these kids have been brought up. We are looking forward to seeing all again at the year end banquet. Thanks - Sidari Mike.
In closing...I need to ask those JV parents looking to continue their Cardinal Football spirit...we need you on Saturday in Alfred...HUGE GAME....we need a HUGE CARDINAL FAN BASE. If you can spare some time to support our Varsity in their quest to beat Alfred, please pack your loudest voices, and loudest noisemakers and make the trip to Alfred for the 1:00PM start. There isn't alot of parking at Alfred as many of you know so the earluer you get there the better!
Thanks again...and check back on information on the Varsity Tailgate.
